I've gone full circle in less than 4 days.

I've spent the last 4 hours on the internet reading various frugal living blogs, printing online coupons, clipping newspaper coupons, going through grocery store sale papers, meal planning, and making grocery lists.

I'm almost certain I've developed a necrotic sore on my rump from sitting here and developing my new and improved frugal living ways.

I'm sure the doctor's visit to treat said necrotic sore will be far more costly than the money I'll save in my attempts.

Re-thinking the cost effectiveness of this way of life.

i am laughing....glad to find you!! I love your blog and I probably have a neurotic sore just from writing, tweeting, and trying to find coupons so I can save money and feed my kids while my ex husband takes 4 vacations a year. lol

I used to be a hard core coupon clipper and would save tons of cash at the grocery. I need to get back to that. Too bad you can't find doc coupons.

Crumple up your coupons, stuff all your coupons in a baggie, and use it as a pillow for your computer chair.

Coupons for me are much like celery. I wait until they are way overdue and then throw them out. And then, every once in awhile, I get cocky and throw out perfectly good celery . . . .

Think baby steps...this month start clipping coupons. Next month give meal planning a try. If you attempt to do it all at once, you're going to end up feeling like Laura Ingalls in a time warp & then go on a binge.

Not that I've done that or anything...

Use the mypoints site coupns, really, because then you win both ways. Also, we plan our meals two weeks at a time and go shopping on Saturdays. It saves a buttlaod of $$, far less impulse buying.
