Twilight

The house is silent and all I can hear is the loud rhythmic ticking of the clock in my kitchen and the zipper from a pair of jeans clanking against the walls of my dryer.

The kids are in school.

The dog is asleep in front of the fireplace.

The TV is off.

The sun is shining.

I haven't blogged or twitted a whole lot lately because I've been in this position.......

...for the past two weeks.

I'm almost done. I'm almost ready to say "good-bye" to Edward and Bella forever.

*sniff*

Lunanik sent Hannah the first two books for her birthday and I was terribly reluctant to read them. Vampires? Eeeew. A vampire "love
story? Even bigger eeeew. But I didn't have anything else to read since no one sent ME books for xmas (ahem) and started-rapidly devoured the first two and am waiting for someone to feel sorry enough for me to loan me the other two. Compelling stuff.

I definitely feel like I'm missing out.

What's it like reading on the Kindle and not having actual pictures to turn?

I've had twilight sitting on my end table for a month now. I know when I finally pick it up I'll devour it! Cute kindle.

A little ashamed to admit that I have totally gotten on this bandwagon. I went through all four books in like six days. Sad. Rather pathetic I know. And now my husband is devouring the second book. Ah, the teenage romance novel, throw in a dash of vampire and voila: success!

Anytime I see a post title with Twilight, I come by - via Amanda at SS. I see on your sidebar you need a new book. Meyer herself recommended The Hunger Games. And, it's very very good. What did you think about Breaking Dawn? I read it five times before I could stomach it.
